Tropical Paradise Collection Brings Island Flare to the Mainland
Cindy Ciskowski Designs (2005)

LOS ANGELES - Cindy Ciskowski, founder of Cindy Ciskowski Illuminating Interior Design, introduces Tropical Paradise, her latest collection to be unveiled at the 2005 International Home Furnishings Market at High Point, NC, April 14 – 20.

Deriving inspiration from sand, sun and sea, Ciskowski’s latest line captures the essence of the islands in her Tropical Paradise Collection. Highlights from this collection of glass and ceramic lamps feature the “Sanibel” table lamp – a frosted opal glass base and a retro royal blue seashell print shade and the “Delta” table lamp – a ceramic metallic bronze base with a silk damask shade. Simply, Cindy’s creations evoke the spirit of a tropical island paradise.

Cindy Ciskowski is transforming the industry through design with hand crafted, made to order lighting collections. Having redefined the “New Traditional,” her creations offer a simple, elegant and refined esthetic.

“Customers are the reason we are in business,” says Cindy. Reflecting creativity, quality, and reliability, Cindy Ciskowski Illuminating Interior Design offers custom capabilities – customers can make specialized fabric choices to create one-of-a-kind looks.

When the former Helms Bakery in Culver City, CA was recently transformed into Evan Cole’s latest creation, H.D. Buttercup opened its doors on March 1st this year. With “unprecedented values and access to luxurious merchandise,” H.D. Buttercup became home to Cindy’s illuminations, showcasing a 400 square-foot lighting gallery.

Cindy’s creative lighting genius has been featured in magazines such as Real Simple, Traditional Home, Elle Décor, House Beautiful and O as well as websites such as HGTV.com. For a complete list of show rooms and to view online catalogs and swatches, visit her website at www.cindyciskowski.com.

Cindy believes that lighting is a key accessory to every room. Transcending the simplistic concept of lighting fixtures, her collections are the conduits through which lighting creates the virtual fourth dimension of a room. “Decorative lighting has developed into a category all its own…function, workability and simplicity of design take on a spiritual quality,” says Cindy.
